Welcome to Aspire at West Campus! Our student apartment community in Iowa City, IA offers 1 - 2 bed apartments you'll love to call home. Located on-campus at the University of Iowa.
I've lived at Aspire for over two years and was shocked to find out that new residents are paying $110/month less than I am — even though I renewed my lease early. When I asked the office, they said the promotion had “just ended yesterday,” but the lower rate was still on their website. No one informed me of the price drop.
They claim returning residents get discounted rent, but that's simply not true unless you check their site yourself. When I asked for a rate match, they refused — even... though I'm a reliable tenant who pays on time. There’s no transparency, no accountability, and the leasing team clearly doesn't value long-term residents.
Be warned: Aspire punishes loyalty with higher prices. Check the website yourself, and don’t believe the leasing office when they say you're getting a deal.

Great Community Cute little area and quiet! Safe. Spacious and very nice. I enjoy living here for the community and area and nice apartments and appliances. Love that the washer and dryer are in unit and fridge and stove are provided. Apartments are roomy and I love the bathroom size. Great for pets, too! Also great walking paths nearby. Sometimes maintenance is a little slow to act, though they eventually do so, and also act quickly in emergencies. Staff are friendly at the leasing office and... willing to assist. The bus routes are unfortunately unreliable often. I also feel they could clean the hallways more often.

I love living at Aspire!!! You will love it too!!!!! Aspire is one of the best rental places to live in Iowa City. It is super clean, quiet, the staff at the office and the maintenance workers are super friendly, the grounds and the buildings are well kept, and the neighbors are nice. If you want a great rental experience during grad school or if you are a new faculty member coming to Iowa City, there is no better place to live!!!!

Best place to live in Iowa City!!! Aspire is definitely the best place to live in Iowa City! Close to the University of Iowa and to UIHC, on the CAMBUS route, close to shops and downtown Iowa City, and with the best staff and maintenance people. Aspire is very clean and safe. I definitely recommend it!!!
