Apartment Description
Westgate Villa Apartments offer one, two and three bedroom apartments. They are located in the center of one of the most pleasant and quiet neighborhoods in Iowa City with easy access to the west campus of the University of Iowa. Finkbine Golf Course... is only one block away as is Willow Creek Park. City buses service Westgate Villa and by automobile, with West Benton Street, Mormen Trek Blvd, and Melrose Avenue nearby, all areas of Iowa City and Coralville are easily accessible. Westgate Villa has beautifully landscaped lawns with an attractive swimming pool, a pleasing grove of trees and a small creek running along one side of the property.
I have lived here for 4 years and it is a very good place to live. It is affordable, management response to maintenance requests is very prompt (unless on weekends), and they keep the area very clean. There is a designated parking space and if you do not have a car, the apartment is adjacent to two bus stops (around 5-7 minutes walk). My only concern is about the soundproofing of the walls, especially if you have a bedroom adjacent to the bathroom. But overall the positives outweigh the... negatives.
